The following information will help website users understand how we collect, use, share, and safeguard personal information. It also describes our role in supporting social service agencies and organizations regarding use, access, and correction of personal information.

Our Commitment to Privacy, Security, and Confidentiality

As outlined in our mission and values, we promote just and equitable social systems for individuals, families, and communities through research. Our business model is designed to help our clients investigate and improve systems so that they work more equitably for everyone. Trust is an integral aspect of serving our clients. We consider data provided to us to be “in trust” and not generally available to the public and for which an expectation of confidentiality exists.

These files can contain administrative, survey, or research data and may include information that can be used to identify a person in a confidential system. Evident Change does collect information on this website from donors who have made tax-deductible contributions to our work effort as a nonprofit 501(c)(3). The donor information we collect is kept confidential and is not shared with anyone outside of our organization other than our vendors that facilitate the processing of donations for payments. We collect donor information and informational newsletter subscription preferences in order to share updates with our donors about Evident Change activities. Donors can unsubscribe at any time.

Evident Change enables job applicants to submit information to us on our website for opportunities to work remotely or at our offices in Madison, Wisconsin; Oakland, California; and other locations in the United States. Job applicants also can subscribe to our informational newsletters, which include updated job postings. Subscribers to any newsletters can unsubscribe at any time.
