Wayne Strong

Program Associate

Wayne Strong joined Evident Change in 2019 as a program associate. Previously Wayne worked as a police officer in Madison, Wisconsin, for 24 years before retiring in 2013 with rank of lieutenant. Since his retirement from the Madison Police Department, Wayne has worked in a variety of capacities including director of workforce development with the Urban League of Greater Madison, assisting with job training and education for low-income families. He received a degree in criminal justice from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.  

Wayne has demonstrated his passion for social justice, equity, and fairness by serving on a variety of boards and committees as well as extensive volunteerism in the community.
